Seeking volunteers for Honduras Mission Trip

Dear Oconee Street UMC family,

This past February our efforts brought potable water to an entire community in rural Honduras through our participation with HOI Inc. in the Agalta Valley of Honduras. The past three years I have been the interpreter for an annual HOI Inc. trip with a group from Mt. Zion UMC in Kentucky and friends from the St. Louis area. We have been invited to have 3 to 4 people join the same group for trip scheduled from January 30th to February 6th, 2016.  This is an exciting opportunity to participate in an international mission with an organization that personifies some of the best practices in missions while experiencing a side of rural Latin America that is often overlooked. Oconee Street’s participation has progressed over last few years from helping finance my second trip, to the potable water project last year and now the opportunity to send more of our church family. I hope you will prayerfully consider joining us.
