Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
I wish I had some helpful insights to share about my Lenten journey, but the truth is that I’m feeling completely stuck in the wilderness. This entire past year has felt like that, in fact. I’ve kept trying and trying to write a meaningful Lenten devotional, because I told Katie I’d contribute one, but I just have not been able to find the right words. I finally decided to try drawing about it instead.
Prayer: In you our ancestors trusted; they trusted and you delivered them. (Psalm 22:4)
We trust that you are with us even when we’re stuck in the wilderness. Help us learn what we have to learn here, and give us the strength to keep following you even when we can’t see the path ahead of us.
