Children’s & Youth Sunday School (9:30 to 10:40 a.m.)
Children and youth are invited to participate each week in Sunday School – our Christian education program designed to introduce children to Jesus and God’s love, to study God’s word, and to help students understand how God wants us to live our lives. The curriculum incorporates Bible stories, activities, crafts, music, video and games into a faith-enriched experience for children. Guided discussion on how each week’s Biblical principal applies to everyday life is also integrated into class time each week. We also provide a Godly Play program in our first and second grade class. Because the spiritual formation of a child is nurtured through a partnership between families and the church, families are encouraged to discuss the concepts learned each week. The celebration of students transitioning to new classes takes place each fall on Christian Education Sunday.

In order to maintain a safe and secure environment, parents must sign in and sign out their children in the preschool and kindergarten classrooms. Additionally, a nursery information card should be on file for each child using the nursery. This is part of our commitment to honor and comply with the UMC Safe Sanctuaries policy.
