Environmental Justice

The Creation Care Green Team promotes environmental sustainability at Oconee Street and beyond. Our initiatives include gameday recycling, educational events, community clean-ups, and nature walks. Plans for 2024-2025 include a comprehensive energy audit with the help of Georgia Interfaith Power and Light, installing a water bottle refilling station with funding from GIPL, implementing a composting program, and exploring re-wilding of our grounds.
