Oconee Street UMC is hosting its annual Carr’s Hill Back-to-School Cookout on Saturday, Aug. 18 at 5 p.m. at 717 Oconee St.
The Cookout is open to the public, especially our student neighbors in the Carr’s Hill neighborhood. The family-friendly event will feature free food, live music, games and entertainment.

After a two-year rebuilding period since a fire destroyed its century-old building, Oconee Street UMC is celebrating the opening of its new facility with a Community Cookout!
Neighborhood residents, including college students and families, are welcome to join us Saturday, Aug. 22 from 5-7 p.m. for food, fun and fellowship! Local indie rock band Pretty Much and percussion ensemble Arasmus will be providing the jams while hot dogs and hamburgers will be served up. Stop by and check out our new church, or just hang out and play a game of volleyball or corn hole.
Check out the event Facebook page and let us know you’ll be there!
